Each portrait is lovingly created by Hannah Pitchford, a Yorkshire-based fine artist specialising in highly detailed, realistic pet portraits drawn from photographs.

Raised in a farming family in the Lake District, Hannah’s love of animals began at an early age. After studying art at GCSE and A-Level, she continued to develop and refine her skills independently and now creates her portraits from her studio in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Working from a favourite photograph, Hannah focuses on capturing not only a pet’s likeness, but the individual features and expressions that make them instantly recognisable.

Each commission is created on smooth fine art paper with premium coloured pencils, allowing for fine detail, rich colour and a beautifully finished result.

Whether commissioned as a memorial to a beloved companion, a thoughtful gift or simply to celebrate the bond you share, every portrait is individually created to become a truly personal and lasting keepsake.
